Organized by ISTMA Europe with support from European Tooling Platform, the seventh edition of the Forum took place in Brussels (Belgium) on November 12. Joining attendees from several countries and regions, this initiative was a milestone for promotion, visibility and recognition of the Tooling Industry within European Commission representatives.
Gathering policy makers, national associations, innovation centers and academia, the Forum highlighted the main trends and challenges for Toolmaking Industry in Europe. Also the main topics for the new "Tooling 2030: Strategic Roadmap for Industry" were announced.
High level representatives from European Commission's DG Research & Innovation and DG Grow shared with participants its vision for industry development and sustainability as well as priorities for the upcoming programs.
This event is included on ISTMA Europe strategy to raise awareness and promote the relevance of Sector in the economy and creation of new products.
