Last December, Argentina celebrated the foundation of the Technological Center for Dies and Molds (CETEMYM). Event took place at the headquarters of University Regional Pacheco in Buenos Aires.
This project is the result of the joint work between different actors: ADIMRA (Argentinean Association of Metalworking Industry), CAMYM (Argentinean Chamber for Dies and Moulds Industry), Governmental Agency and the University
The Technological Center's main objective is to strengthen the innovation capabilities of the moulds and dies sector through access to new technologies and professional training. Likewise, CETEMYM will serve to support training on practical classes of students from engineering and technical courses existing on the University.
Currently some services are being carried out to local companies. In August, the first classes of mechanization with CNC technology will be offered.
