Organised by the GTMA (UK National Association) & Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT), a new and exciting event entitled Manufacturing Solutions will be held on Wednesday, 13th June 2018, from 8.30am to 5.30pm, to provide an opportunity for visitors to learn about the latest developments and advanced technologies available to manufacturing and precision engineering companies in every industrial sector.

The free to attend event will be held at LIT, Moylish Park, Limerick, Ireland.

"There is a thirst for knowledge in the Irish engineering industry, and everyone at the GTMA is extremely pleased to be working with the staff at LIT, as well as the local authorities, to create an event that has been developed to showcase the very best manufacturing technologies and engineering solutions. It will be an exciting opportunity for visitors to improve existing products and introduce new ones using the latest technologies and services," explains GTMA chief executive, Julia Moore.

Over 80 of the most advanced providers of machine tools, workholding, cutting tools, metrology, inspection and CAD/CAM/PLM manufacturing software and ancillary products and services, will be exhibiting at the event. Additionally, a comprehensive programme of leading industrial keynote speakers is currently being developed.

Julia Moore says: "Bringing all the leading technology suppliers together the GTMA and LIT are providing an ideal conduit for the transfer of technology from the specialist suppliers to the practical industrial landscape, where its take-up and practical application can be used to gain a competitive business advantage."

Programme leader in Precision Engineering at LIT, Ciaran O'Loughlin, adds: "This will be a 'must attend' event for every Irish manufacturing company, with unrivalled access to exhibiting businesses that can provide technical product information and support services that will improve efficiency and make productivity gains achievable."

LIT's impressive Moylish Park Campus is the site of the Applied Science, Engineering and Technology faculty. Many of the exhibitors will be located in the 'Street', a large, open plan corridor running straight through the heart of the extensive site. Additional exhibition space is provided in the sports hall, half way up the Street, while the 350-seat state-of-the-art Millennium Theatre will be used to welcome visitors.
