The 2016 ISTMA General Assembly was held in Barcelona (Spain), on May 2, hosted by the ISTMA World Secretariat in close cooperation with FEAMM – Spanish Federation for Mold & Die Industry.
The Assembly addressed important issues for the future of ISTMA, including the latest outputs from its Strategic Plan discussions as well as the formal approval of the 2015 Management Report and Accounting as well as the Plan of Activities and Budget for 2016.
Having Jari Saaranen, ISTMA Vice President, as a chairman, the ISTMA General Assembly, gathered representatives from nine National Associations to debate activities performed by the Confederation and the current business conditions on each country.
Delegates also had the opportunity to share experiences, ideas and concerns about the present situation of the Toolmaking Industry worldwide and to visit SEAT production facilities in Martorells. ISTMA Global Partners also attended and participated on this Assembly.
DMG MORI made a brief introduction on the company latest developments and shared with attendees their vision for the Industry and Messe Stuttgart introduced "Moulding Expo 2017 show" and its most recent updates.
