Hosted by ABINFER, the ISTMA Americas Meeting was held in Joinville (Brazil) during the Brazilian Toolmaking Industry annual conference (ENAFER), on the 20th of June. Reunion was chaired by ISTMA Americas President, Eduardo Medrano (AMMMT - Mexico) and attended by representatives from other regional Associations: ABINFER (Brazil), represented by its President, Christian Dihlmann, CTMA (Canada), represented online by Les Payne and CAMYM (Argentina) as observer and represented by its President Santiago Gallichio.
ISTMA President, Bob Williamson, with support from Manuel Oliveira from ISTMA Secretariat had also the chance to present the association, its activities and networking opportunities provided to its members to a larger audience composed by ENAFER delegates.
The initiative also allowed attendees to visit SENAI's excellence training centers in São Paulo and some of the leading toolmaking companies in Brazil.
