CTMA ORGANIZES PLANT TOUR TO MHI CANADA AEROSPACE

The Canadian Tooling and Machining Association (CTMA) organizes a tour to MHI Canada Aerospace, Inc. located off Northwest Drive, in Mississauga. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) is a global company with a vast product range including aircraft, aircraft major assemblies, rocket launchers, ships, power generators, and industrial machinery.

MHICA was created in 2006, and has progressively grown in capability and capacity. MHICA is a Tier 1, North American heavy aero-structures manufacturing assembly company. In the past 10 years, it has grown from a workforce of 160 people, located in a 90,000 sq.ft. facility to more than 700 highly skilled employees, working in a globally competitive marketplace, at a 250,000 sq.ft. facility. Today, using world class advanced technologies MHICA oversees the development, manufacturing and assembly of major airframe assemblies (wings and fuselage) for Bombardier Aerospace, specifically for the Global 5000/6000 and the Challenger 350.
