A delegation of Brazilian companies from the mould and toolmaking sector, represented by ABINFER – the Brazilian Association of the Mould and Tool Industry – visited Portugal for a series of technical visits and exchange meetings hosted by CEFAMOL, the Portuguese Mouldmakers Association.
The visit provided a unique opportunity to reinforce the spirit of cooperation, exchange experiences and strengthen technical and technological dialogue between two key regions in the global toolmaking ecosystem.
The programme included visits to several leading Portuguese companies, where the Brazilian delegation was introduced to best practices in mould design, manufacturing processes, quality control, and innovation strategies. It also served as a valuable platform for identifying common challenges and shared opportunities in the context of a rapidly evolving industrial landscape.
This initiative underlines the role of ISTMA in fostering international networking and connecting member associations in the pursuit of continuous improvement, sustainability, and global competitiveness.
Through knowledge sharing, direct industry engagement, and mutual respect, these visits contribute to building a stronger, more collaborative future for the global tooling industry.
