KODMIC held the “13th Die and Mold’s Day” Ceremony
The Korea Die & Mold Industry Cooperative (KODMIC) held on November 20th at 63 City, in Seoul, the “13th Die & Mold's Day Ceremony”, the biggest event in Die and Mould Industry of Korea to promote the industry notoriety and development through cooperation among member companies. About 600 people participated in the event including industrialists, government officials and academic representatives.
The “13th Die & Mold's Day Ceremony” has been voluntarily created by Die and Mold Industry representatives to promote the will to manage the industry and to generate opportunities to discuss its development with other companies representatives.
Mr. Kim Dong-Sup, President of KODMIC, mentioned that “we face more difficult situations than ever with the present economic depression, the increase of the cost of raw materials and global financial crisis, but people in Die and Mold Industry are making all their efforts to handle these difficulties and secure the basis of Korean industry”. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the foundation of KODMIC, he mentioned that he will do his best to improve the management environment and offer customized services to the member companies of its Association.
In this event, people who devote themselves to the development of the domestic Die and Mold Industry were selected and awarded as “People of the Year” in the sector receiving industry commendations by President of KODMIC and the Minister of Knowledge Economy.
