TOOLING INDUSTRY AT MANUFUTURE 2009 CONFERENCE

The European Tooling Platform was presented by ISTMA World President - Joaquim Menezes - as a successful case study on the 2009 Manufuture Conference held in Gothenburg, Sweden. This initiative it’s our Industry focal point for Research and Development at European Level gathering industry's key players and stakeholders.

The European Tooling Platform acting as a Sub-Platform of MANUFUTURE Technology Platform, has a strategic relevance to support the implementation of a coordinated action plan at a European level developing and implementing R&D activities, leveraging competitive differentiation and bringing added value engineering and production base to companies, towards the Industry's increased competitiveness and leadership in world markets.

ISTMA Europe is acting as a key player in the development of this initiative participating on its High Level Group and Advisory Group.
