Tooling Industry Worldwide: present status

The “Tooling Industry Worldwide: present status” presentation, given by José Ferro Camacho at the II European Tooling Forum, held on September 25th in Milan, Italy, provides information about the globalisation of Tool and Die Industry and an analysis of its main trends on international trade.

Based on the "2007 ISTMA Statistical Year Book", this presentation already shows updated information (2008 data) about international trade on Dies and Moulds for Plastics and Rubber in Europe, NAFTA countries and Asia.

Based on short term indicators, the presentation also gives information about "crisis development in Europe" and how our Sector is reacting to the present economic environment.
