The 2007 ISTMA Statistics Year Book was officially released during FADMA / ISTMA Asia meeting held on March 17th in Seoul, Korea. This new edition of ISTMA Statistics presents a new philosophy and methodology in the collection of official international commerce and governmental statistics.
This document will be the institutional statistics book for ISTMA to be released every year at the end of its first quarter. The present book is the result of the collected available information for 2007 as a result of research work done with specialized official databases around the globe.
Work to collect similar information from last year, 2008, is already in progress and the 2008 ISTMA Statistics Year Book will be released next June. Then, the 2009 edition will be released on a "cruise" bases at the end of first quarter 2010.
On next editions, additional information from missing countries will be added up to the result of the work in progress on searching for specialized and coherent data.
